Tarun is a consultant based in Australia and the Middle East with access to corporates, investors (including sovereign wealth funds) and opportunities based in the Middle East and India. Tarun is a Chartered Accountant and a CFA Charterholder with over 15 years of experience in Private Equity, Investment Banking and M&A Advisory in the Middle East, North Africa and India.
Tarun has extensive experience in the Leisure industry, having successfully conducted buy-out and fund-raising transactions in excess of USD 600 million. Tarun has worked as the CFO of Millennium & Copthorne Hotels in the Middle East where he developed strong relationships with Institutional and High Net Worth investors in the leisure sector and was responsible for the finance and operations spread over 12 countries for over 45 hotels (operating and under development) in Middle East, Africa and Central Asia.
Tarun holds a Bachlor of Commerce (Honours). Tarun is also a Certified Practicing Accountant and a CFA Charterholder
